Efecto de la inversión extranjera directa en el desempleo a nivel global

Abstract

El objetivo de esta investigación radica en una estimación de la relación existente entre la inversión extranjera directa y el desempleo a nivel global durante el periodo 1991-2015. Para el desarrollo se utilizó datos anuales del World Development Indicators del Banco Mundial de los años antes mencionados y se clasificó los países según su nivel de ingresos por el método atlas. La presente investigación trata como el desempleo es un factor importante para medir el nivel de la economía de un país, siendo la inversión extranjera uno de los principales factores que afectan a este fenómeno. El principal resultado encontrado fue que la inversión extranjera directa es un factor importante para los cambios que pueda sufrir el índice del desempleo en un país, ya que presentan una relación fuerte en el corto y largo plazo.
