Abstract

La importancia del turismo rural como motor de desarrollo en Andalucía ha producido un creciente interés. Sin embargo, un aspecto mencionado a menudo, pero escasamente estudiado, es el referido a la distancia entre el lugar de residencia y el municipio turístico. Éste es el eje central del artículo, que trata de conocer la relación entre la intensidad de oferta de alojamiento y la distancia a los núcleos urbanos, así como el grado en el que la distancia entre municipios rurales y urbanos puede considerarse un factor relevante en el establecimiento de la tipología de zona rural.
