What has been the affect of such a process of rapid credit deepening? This paper examines two topical concerns and the ways these have been affected by the process of rapid credit deepening through an empirical study of four Grameen villages served by the Madhupur branch of the bank. These are targeting effectiveness and repayment performance. I argue with evidence that the affect of this process have been (a) an increase in the inclusion error and (b) an increase in repayment irregulari
