Abstract

El trabajo tiene como objetivo fundamentar y difundir la idea de que la Comunicacion Organizacional, como parte de la estrategia de las Universidades en el siglo XXI, constituye una via esencial para la formacion y fortalecimiento de los valores y la Responsabilidad Social Universitaria (RSU) asi como, el enfoque extensionista, que reclaman los postulados del Objetivo No. 4 de la agenda 2030 de la ONU y la UNESCO, referido a la Educacion para el Desarrollo Sostenible, y la Declaracion de Buenos Aires de enero de 2017, para America Latina y el Caribe. Se empleo el metodo deductivo descriptivo a partir de un analisis documental de la EDS y sus antecedentes, desde principios de siglo, y de los referentes teoricos actuales de los conceptos destacados antes, asi como, la observacion directa y participante de los autores. Se detallan los cambios en los enfoques, escenarios, contenidos y metodos que se exigen a la Educacion en las politicas mencionadas, el papel de la Responsabilidad Social Universitaria y del enfoque y las acciones extensionistas en la gestion de los cambios necesarios. Se especifican las concepciones estrategicas y metodologicas para la Comunicacion Organizacional en el contexto de las politicas mencionadas y de los escenarios de comportamiento de los diferentes actores de la comunidad universitaria y de su entorno economico, tecnologico y socio-cultural. Se concluye que la Comunicacion Organizacional de las Universidades, constituye via esencial fortalecer los Valores, la Responsabilidad Social Universitaria (RSU) y el enfoque extensionista, que reclama la EDS.
