Abstract

Las Encuestas Nacionales de Innovacion (ENI) constituyen el instrumento metodologico internacionalmente aceptado para la compilacion de la informacion necesaria para la medicion y el analisis de la conducta innovadora de las empresas en una economia determinada. En el presente articulo se exponen los principales elementos conceptuales y los aspectos metodologicos de mayor importancia que deben ser tomados en consideracion para la determinacion de la actividad de innovacion en las empresas cubanas por medio de la aplicacion de las ENI y la comparacion entre sus resultados. El analisis de las tres ENI realizadas en Cuba y su comparabilidad entre ellas hizo posible determinar para un periodo de veinte anos de informacion factual (1997-2017) el comportamiento de los aspectos fundamentales y del sistema de relaciones que caracterizaron la conducta innovadora en muestras de empresas cubanas seleccionadas por su significativa aportacion a la conformacion del Producto Interno Bruto (PIB) del pais.
