Un análisis espacial del desempleo por municipios

Abstract

En este trabajo se analiza la distribución espacial del desempleo en España explotando la información disponible a nivel municipal. Con este objetivo, se utilizan procedimientos empíricos de la literatura de geografía económica y distribución de la renta que nos permiten estudiar la concentración geográfica del desempleo. Además de analizar la distribución del conjunto de población parada, prestaremos especial atención a las diferencias espaciales que se puedan producir dentro de dicho colectivo cuando distinguimos por tamaño de municipio y tramo de edad.
