Democracia económica para una salida de la crisis

Abstract

Este trabajo explora la actualización del espíritu y la estrategia de democracia económica entendiéndola como una fórmula realista para forzar una salida social y ambientalmente sostenible a la crisis del neoliberalismo. Su objetivo no es contribuir a maximizar la rentabilidad económica de las empresas utilizando el potencial de creatividad y flexibilidad de la subjetividad humana en el marco de una economía hipercompetitividad. La democracia económica pretende, por el contrario, alterar las correlaciones de poder entre capital y trabajo en el seno de las (grandes) empresas y de las economías nacionales. Pero no sólo. La experiencia histórica demuestra, que la democratización de las empresas y de la economía es, a largo plazo, la fórmula más realista para asegurar incluso las conquistas de democracia política y para implicar a los ciudadanos en la gestión las sociedades en su conjunto.
