Matrices insumo-producto y análisis de multiplicadores: una aplicación a Colombia

Abstract

El análisis insumo-producto es ampliamente usado en distintos escenarios, ya que es de fácil implementación e interpretación. Sin embargo, es importante tomar en cuenta que los coeficientes de la matriz insumo-producto se deben construir con precaución, sobre todo en el caso de que exista producción secundaria en los sectores, ya que esto puede implicar coeficientes negativos. Para sortear este problema se construyeron los coeficientes en forma indirecta, con datos de las cuentas nacionales del año 2007, base 2000. A partir de estos nuevos coeficientes se hace un análisis tradicional de multiplicadores y se obtienen los sectores claves de la economía. Los resultados son sensibles al nivel de desagregación que se utilice.
