Distribución del ingreso en Michoacán 1980-1995

Abstract

El objetivo del artículo es identificar los niveles de concentración del ingreso en el estado de Michoacán para los años 1980, 1990 y 1995, a través de mediciones expresadas en los coeficientes de Gini, para los años respectivos. Se comparan asimismo estos resultados, con los obtenidos también por el autor a nivel nacional para el mismo período, esto con la finalidad de tener referencias homogéneas en el momento de efectuar comparaciones. Se trabajan en el documento las relaciones establecidas entre los estratos ocupacionales y sus respectivos rangos de ingreso. Identificando aquí la evolución que ha tenido la estructura del ingreso, en términos de la mayor o menor apropiación de los recursos por parte de la población, de acuerdo a las clasificaciones establecidas según sus percepciones salariales. Se analiza esto además, a través de las curvas de Lorenz, estrechamente vinculadas con los coeficientes de Gini. Las mediciones obtenidas, son acompañadas con la revisión y comparación del desarrollo de los principales indicadores macroeconómicos nacionales y estatales, destacando aquí sobre todo, los indicadores económicos más relacionados con el bienestar y desarrollo social.
