Algunas características y problemas de las exportaciones en Michoacán

Abstract

En un mundo caracterizado por la transnacionalización de la economía, las exportaciones adquieren cada vez más importancia y exigen condiciones más favorables y la eliminación de obstáculos. Hasta ahora las medidas de política económica que buscan incrementar las exportaciones se han caracterizado por basarse en visiones macroeconómicas, subestimando los aspectos vinculados a la actividad productiva y comercial a la escala adecuada a las propias empresas. Igualmente, el problema de las exportaciones ha sido tratado tradicionalmente siguiendo indicadores que no llegan a abarcar puntos claves de la problemática. Se propone el concepto de "potencialidad exportadora" como una forma más realista, que permite visualizar las debilidades de una región en este aspecto. Con la ayuda de este concepto se hace un primer análisis de la situación exportadora de Michoacán en la última década.
