Estado y Política Económica en el México Contemporáneo

Abstract

El debate sobre la política económica actual, es uno de los temas más relevantes de la coyuntura nacional, no sólo por sus consecuencias económicas, sociales y políticas en el corto plazo, sino también por lo que puede comprometer de las perspectivas futuras de mediano y largo plazo del desarrollo económico de México. Polemizar acerca del programa económico aplicado en la presente administración, implica comentar lo sucedido en el sexenio anterior así como -al menos brevemente- las tendencias de la participación estatal en la economía mexicana y las políticas económicas aplicadas en las tres últimas décadas. Pretendemos sistematizar algunas ideas en esa perspectiva.
