Abstract

Vilfredo Pareto was among the very first intellectual points of reference of Ernesto Rossi, on whom he left a profound cultural imprint in the economic field and beyond. The essay reconstructs, as far as possible, the relationship between the two thinkers on the subject of economics with particular reference to the methodological problem and the issue of the distribution of wealth (income distribution especially), looking for the lines of continuity and distancing between the two.
