Abstract

[eng] A Network Analysis of Banking and Financial Fragilities . This literature overview on banking fragilities highlights the fact that including a network perspective is a way to better understand the nature of banking risks. Banks embed in networks of interbank relations, but the part played by these networks in issues such as liquidity distribution, or bankruptcy contagion is largely undervalued. It seems however network architecture is a key variable to measure both liquidity and insolvency risks. The analysis of the network topology is thus to be taken into account in financial policies tackling banking crisis.
