Abstract

[eng] From the start, Perroux was a critique of traditional economics. Then, inspired by Schumpeter's Theory economic development, he for its translation into French [1935]. In search of new tools of analysis a widerviewed economics, he proposed to take into account the of an « internationaly economy » the proper estimation of human costs and the inevitably conflictual character of any scheme or goal we are looking for, such as international cooperation or even pacific coexistence. While he was for resolutely aiming at « going beyond capitalism », but with the acceptance of present realities and struggles (to be accounted for), he refused what he saw as complaisance towards superficial remedies. The dialogue between monopolies and nations will continue and we ought to pursue it for a philosophy of a new development [1981].
