L'intégration monétaire et financière internationale : un défi pour l'Europe

Abstract

[fre] L'Europe doit actelluement affronter d'importants changements dans les domaines monétaire et financier internationaux qui remettent en question la philosophie de la construction européenne. Face à ces bouleversements et au désir d'autonomie des gouvernements, certains s'interrogent sur l'existence d'une spécificité européenne au sein du système financier global. Répondre à cette question cruciale dont dépend l'avenir de l'Europe, exige la réalisation de l'unité monétaire afin de mettre un marché financier européen compétitif au service de l'économie réelle. [eng] Europe has, at present, to cope with considerable changes in international, monetary and financial fields, which question the philosophy of european construction. These disorders and the authorities desire of independence make some people wonder if an european specificity is existing within the financial system as a whole. To answer this crucial question, a decisive one for the future of Europe, requires the achievement of monetary unification in order to obtain a competitive european financial market fulfilling the objectives of the real economy.
