Abstract

[fre] Le débat sur la rigidité des salaires néglige trop souvent l'analyse préalable du concept de flexibilité et des mécanismes qui déterminent l'évolution des salaires. La plupart des études bles utilisent des mesures incorrectes de la flexibilité. On peut douter de l'utilité d'une norme théorique qui n'a aucune chance d'exister dans le monde réel. D'autant que les théories modernes de la relation de travail ont déjà bien établi la rationalité d'un ajustement lent et modéré des salaires. [eng] The debate on wage rigidities has often neglicted the analysis of the concept of flexibility and the factors that determine the wage movements. One may wonder about the utility of such a theoretical norm since it is absolutely impossible in the real world. All the more as the modern theory of labor contracts has shown the rationality of sticky wages.
