Abstract

[fre] L'augmentation du chômage est avant tout due au contexte international et à la faiblesse corrélative de la demande effective. L'opinion publique et les gouvernements ont refusé de prendre en compte cette nouvelle donnée et les déséquilibres sur le marché du travail ont été renforcés par l'inertie du système des prix et des salaires. [eng] The rise of unemployment is primarly caused by the international context and by the correlative weakness of effective demand. Public opinion and governments have refused to recognize these new conditions, and labor market disequilibrium have been aggraved by the inertia of the price-wages system.
