Abstract
[eng] The Revue Economique (1950-1980) and the rise of mainstream economics. . The paper studies the birth, functioning and content of a leading French economic journal during three decades. The founders of the journal were in favour of a pluridisplinary approach in which political economy would be connected to history and sociology: they were not successful in this respect. Based on a study of the content of the journal, this paper stresses the sharp rise of mainstream economics in the journal during the 60's, and examines some caracterisees of the related authors. However, two currents of thought (école de la régulation and économistes des conventions) connected to the journal, are still advocating ideas in line with the initial aim of the Revue économique.
