L'Eurosystème a-t-il les moyens de prévenir et de gérer efficacement une éventuelle crise financière ? Il est possible d'apporter une réponse rassurante à chacune de ces questions. Attempts should thus be made to answer two questions: does the making of the euro area tend to heigthen systemic risk? Can the Eurosystem forestall and manage efficiently a possible financial crisis? On both accounts, a reassuring answer can be provided.
