Abstract

[fre] Marchés parallèles et convertibilité. Analyse théorique avec références aux économies africaines. . On étudie un modèle avec des marchés parallèles dus à divers contrôles de l'État sur les marchés. Son équilibre général détermine simultanément le taux de change parallèle (ou dans le cas convertible la balance des paiements parallèles) et le prix marginal des biens importés. On étudie diverses politiques d'ajustement dans ce cadre, en montrant les différences qu'entraîné la convertibilité de la monnaie locale. [eng] Parallel markets and convertibility : theory with references to african economies. . A model is analysed with parallel markets due to various state controls on markets. Its general equilibrium determines simultaneously the parallel exchange rate (or in the convertible case the parallel balance of payments) and the marginal price of imported goods. In this framework, various adjustment policies are studied, showing the differences entailed by convertibility of the local currency.
