Abstract

[eng] Some issues related to the economics of now-stationary state traffic flow. R. Arnott. The paper starts off with a brief state of the art review of the economies of stationary state traffic flow. This is followed by a critique of the theory, and a discussion of how economics and traffic engineering might be used to develop some aspects of the economics of non-stationary-state traffic flow. [fre] Ce papier correspond à une étape de la recherche que l'auteur a entreprise avec Robin Lindsey (Princeton University, The University of Alberta). Il commence par un bref état de l'art sur l'analyse économique clés flux de trafic stationnaires. Puis suivent une critique de la théorie et une discussion sur la façon dont l'usage de l'économie et de l'analyse de trafic permettrait utilement de développer certains aspects de la théorie des flux de trafic non stationnaires.
