Cette approche originale, fruit d'une collaboartion entre le Commissariat Général au Plan, l'INSEE et SEMA, a été expérimentée avec succ.ès sur le modèle DMS à l'occasion de la préparation du VIIIe Plan.. This paper highlights the great help provided by linear programming for an easier exploitation of large simulation models as well as for a better understanding of their outcome.. This new method, developped by « le Commissariat Général au Plan », l'« INSEE » and « SEMA » has been successfully tested on the DMS Model for the implementation of the VIIIth french economic plan..
