Abstract

[fre] En mai 1967 pour la première fois, la France recensait son com-. merce. Les premiers résultats publiés par l'I.N.S.E.E, en 1969 constituent un ensemble complet et diversifié de données relatives à l'emploi et à l'activité dans-lé secteur commercial.. Utilisant une partie de ces informations, l'auteur s'attache à montrer que l'avenir du commerce de détail alimentaire en France dépend beaucoup plus de la taille des établissements et du pouvoir d'achat des consommateurs que de l'évolution démographique.. The first results released by the I.N.S.E.E. in 1969 give complete and varied data connected with employaient and business in the trading branch.. Using a part of these data, the author applies himself to demonstrate that the future prospects of the retail trade of food products in France are more dependant on the size of the tradin firms and on the consumers' purchasing power than on the demographie expansion..
