[fre] A partir d'une intuition statistique de Vincenzo Siesto, l'Istituto Nazionale di Sociologia Rurale (INSOR) a estimé - en poussant l'analyse jusqu'au niveau régional - que la production brute de l'agriculture italienne se répar- tissait, pour l'année agricole 1970-71, de la façon suivante : . 1- 71 % dans les exploitations des paysans cultivateurs en propriété ou en fermage, la qualité de paysan étant . tiquement rattachée au travail manuel de la terre ; . 2- 9,7 % dans d'autres exploitations familiales, en métayage ; . 3- 19,3 % dans des exploitations de type capitaliste, gérées par un directeur ou bien par un entrepreneur individuel, . à temps plein ou partiel, remplissant uniquement les fonctions intellectuelles de direction. . D'une étude ultérieure de la distribution de la production brute, il résulte que celle-ci provient : . - pour 50 %, de 10 % à peine des exploitations (360.000 sur 3.600.000) ; . - pour 30 %, de 35 % environ des exploitations gérées, sauf exception, par des agriculteurs professionnels sans successeurs ; . - pour 20 %, de 55 % des exploitations du secteur ouvrier-paysan où la famille est presque exclusivement occupée par des activités non-agricoles. . Il suffit de comparer les deux séries pour se rendre compte que la concentration de la production agricole passe désormais à l'intérieur du secteur familial qui représente l'énorme majorité des « grandes » exploitations. [eng] Stratification of Italian Agriculture - Starting from a statistical analysis by Vincenzo Siesto, the lstituto Nazionale di Sociologia Rurale (INSOR) has estimated that, when the analysis is carried out on the regional level, the gross production of Italian agriculture for 1970-71, was distributed as follows : . 1- 71 % in tenant or owner occupied farms, the farmer carrying out manual tasks, . 2- 9,7 % in other family type farms, and share-croppers, . 3- 19,3 % in capitalist-type farms run by a manager or by a single part-time, or full time business man in each case engaged in the intellectual tasks of management. . A later study of the distribution of gross production gave the following results : . -50 % came from 10 % of the farms (360.000 out of 3.600.000), . - 30 % came from 35 % of the farms usually run by professional farmers without successors, . - 20 % from 55 % in the worker-farmer (part-time) category where the family is almost exclusively engaged in activities outside agriculture. . One need only compare these two series of results to realize that agricultural production nowadays comes mainly from the « family » sector which makes up the great majority of large-size farms.
