Deux types d’économie fondamentalement différents sont à l’origine de tous les autres déséquilibres. Le commerce international et l’investissement étranger (flux de biens et de capitaux) transforment ces différences en excédent commercial pour la Chine. En réalité, une guerre des monnaies entre la Chine et les États-Unis cache des différences structurelles plus profondes entre les deux économies.
