Abstract

. Classification JEI : F30, G29 [eng] How Big Could Sovereign Wealth Funds Be by 2015 ? . How important will the sovereign wealth funds (SWFs) be over the medium and long-term ? According to our calculations, based on several assumptions, the world's SWFs could grow from $ 2.5 trillion now to nearly $ 10 trillion by 2015, and could exceed the total size of the world's official reserves in the coming six or seven years. . JEL Classification : F30, G29
