Abstract

[eng] Sovereign Wealth Funds in South-East Asia . South-East Asia is well endowed with sovereign wealth funds (SWFs), since this region is home to five of them, present in four countries. Before the subprime crisis, their total worth was evaluated at over $ 600 billion. This article describes these little known SWFs and strives to describe their functioning, their strategy and their medium-term perspectives. . JEL Classification : F30, G29, N25 [fre] Le Sud-Est asiatique est bien doté en fonds souverains puisque cette région en dispose de cinq, présents dans quatre pays. Avant la crise des subprimes, leur capitalisation était évaluée à plus de 600 Md$. Cet article décrit brièvement ces fonds souverains peu connus et s'attache à décrire leur fonctionnement, leur stratégie ainsi que leurs perspectives à moyen terme. .
