Crise économique dans les pays émergents, un tournant dans les relations Nord/Sud ?

Abstract

[fre] Depuis le mois d’août 2007, la crise financière dite des « subprimes » s’est transformée en une crise économique majeure affectant d’abord l’économie américaine, puis peu à peu celle des autres pays développés (US Congress, JEC, 2007). L’hypothèse d’un découplement de ce phénomène avec les économies des pays émergents - hypothèse suggérée au début du processus - semble non seulement improbable mais déjà contredite par les données statistiques (FMI, 2008) : les conséquences de la crise se sont déjà fait sentir dans les économies émergentes, et encore ne s’agit-il que des premiers effets d’une vague dont on mesure mal pour l’instant l’intensité autant que la durée. Néanmoins, au-delà de ce premier constat, la situation mérite un examen approfondi.
