[fre] Après une analyse serrée et synthétique de la situation française, l’auteur étudie trois types de stratégies possibles à moyen terme : la fuite en avant, la recherche d’une « nouvelle croissance », un rééquilibrage à l’allemande. Il opte pour la troisième solution, en l’adaptant au cas français ; elle implique une période prolongée d’austérité. . After an in-depth and synthetic analysis of the economic situation in France, the author examines three possible types of strategy for the medium-term : a blind rush ahead, the search for « new growth » or a rebalancing as adopted by the country’s German neighbours. Opting for the third solution, he chooses to adapt it to France, despite it implying a prolonged period of austerity. . Classification JEL : O10, O40, O52
