ISR : un concept en devenir

Abstract

[eng] Socially Responsible Investment : an evolving concept . Sustainable development provides a framework to the SRI. A balance must be established between three domains : environmental, social and economic. SRI considers, with investment decisions, both the investment’s impact on society and the impact of a socially responsible behaviour on the firm’s value. The SRI asset management is based on screening practices : simple exclusion, best in class, shareholder activism, voting... But there is no single definition of SRI. Extra-financial screening practices will progressively integrate the firm analysis as standardization will progress. . . Classification JEL : G11, M14, Q01
