Abstract

[fre] L’activité d’assurance est-elle de nature à soutenir les efforts de création de richesse, de gestion de la solidarité et de garantie d’un mieux être dans le temps et dans l’espace ? L’activité d’assurance peut-elle aider à la préservation du capital naturel ? Cet article tente de répondre à ces questions en examinant successivement le rôle économique de l’assurance, son rôle social et le rôle que peut jouer cette industrie dans la sauvegarde de l’environnement. . Classification JEL : G22, Q01 [eng] Is insurance able to sustain wealth creation, solidarity management and welfare security ? Is insurance able to favour the natural resources’ protection ? This article tries to answer these questions analysing the economic role of insurance, its social role and the role it can plays in the environment protection. . JEL classification : G22, Q01
