Abstract

[eng] Managing demand . Everything works against the rational management of demand in the area of healthcare. Little by little, sickness management is replacing the management of « well being », which is by essence indefinable. The market anticipates and follows these new behaviours with a constant supply of technological innovation adapted to the situation and which immediately address these requirements through services that anticipate demand. Security requirements, the absence of evaluation of rampant bias, the fear and weakness of political decision-making in the face of the most demagogic rhetoric mean that demand can only be managed in terms of available or unavailable financial resources, thereby adding to the growing breakdown of mutual responsibility. . . Classification JEL : I11, I18
