Abstract

[eng] Why and how «financial ethics» training is becoming popular in the united states today ? . From the beginning of the 90's, fostered by financial institutions and some universities, training in financial code of ethics has started to gain ground in the United States. Many reasons have contributed to this ; among them, the need to avoid the increase in capital market regulations by the federal authorities, as well as the strengthening of disciplinary control by professional organisations. After having presented in detail all the reasons that have motivated these initiatives, we are going to describe the originality and the specific characteristics of financial ethic training on the second part of this article.
