Abstract

[eng] Economic and financial reasons for capital increase : an empirical survey on the french market . Today, cash capital increase has become an essential way of financing a booming company. Theoretically, several explanations can justify this. We shall therefore try to see from an empirical point of view which are the economic and financial reasons that can make a company resort to these kinds of operations. Cash requirements and cash flow weakness are among the main reasons justifying this financing choice.
