Abstract

[eng] The purpose of this paper is to show some difficulties linked to the analysis of coalitions and networks in non cooperative games through three simple problems The first one is about the relationship between the concept of network and that of coalition Whether or not these two can be embedded in common more general concept is not clear. The second issue concerns the behaviour of coalitions in non-cooperative games. It is shown that in many cases, an explicit coordination device has to be chosen when dealing with coalitions strategic choices. Finally we study the case of games with multi-dimensional strategy sets. We show that allowing some players to cooperate partially can generate some paradoxes that are not obvious to solve.
