Abstract
[eng] Abstract The myth of the race, a victory tool used by the weakest and the greatest alike, has remained with us throughout and contemporary history. However, both theoreticians and historians have often been behind over-selective studies of this phenonemon. In order to be able to understand all the ins and outs of the question, it has to be-situated in a lengthy historical context. In doing so, the permanent mental representations are set against the continually self-accelerated mutability of the technological and scientific innovations which have governed times of war throughout the centuries. There is therefore no one uniform theory for all centuries, but instead a forever changing inter-active game between, the "race to race" and the sudden steps forward in technology, which therefore modifies the elements of the problem more and more.
