Abstract

[eng] The reception by French economists in the years following the coming out of General Theory. A delay in understanding. A surprise caused by the first obscurities of keynesian thought Remembering G. Pirou, who also died in 1946. Necessity for a new reading and maybe even a new writing. With his smartness and humour, would Keynes write again what gave him prestige in 1936 ? [fre] L'accueil des Français lors des années qui ont suivi la parution de la « General Theory ». Un retard de compréhension. Un étonnement face aux premières obscurités de la pensée keynésienne. Le souvenir de G. Pirou mort lui aussi en 1946. Nécessité d'une relecture et peut-être même d'une réécriture. Avec sa malice et son humour, 40 ans après sa mort, Keynes réécrirait-il ce qui a fait son prestige en 1936 ?
