Abstract

Description, documentation, evaluation and redesign of key processes during their execution should be an essential part of the strategic management of any organization. All organizations live in a dynamically changing environment. Therefore they must adapt its internal processes to market changes. These processes must be described. Suitable way of description could be BPMN notation. Right after description of processes via BPMN, processes should be controlled to ensure expected of their quality. System (which could be automated) based on mathematical expression of qualitative characteristics of process models (i.e. measures of quality of process models) can support mentioned process controls. Research team trying to design and get into practical use such a tool. The aim of this publication is description of mentioned system - based on measures of the quality of process models - and answer associated scientific questions.
