Inovarea sociala – o viziune benefica asupra sectorului public. Studiu de caz: inovarea sociala in universitatile publice din Italia

Abstract

Un sector public eficient si productiv poate fi un factor puternic de crestere economica, prin intermediul sprijinului oferit pentru sectorul privat si guvernarea acestuia. In momentele in care guvernele se confrunta cu provocarea de a asigura consolidarea financiara in timp ce stimuleaza cresterea, competitivitatea si ocuparea fortei de munca, exista o justificare solida pentru cresterea eficientei, o mai buna guvernare, o livrare mai rapida a serviciilor oferite si o implicarea mai mare a utilizatorilor in sectorul public. Desi sectorul public trebuie sa inoveze pentru a satisface cererea tot mai mare a cetatenilor, inovarea in acest sector se defineste si identifica mai greu, eforturile de a o intelege mai bine si de a o promova fiind mult incetinite de o lipsa de probe cantitative.
