Educatia IT pentru functionarii publici

Abstract

Obiectivul principal al acestei lucrari il constituie un subiect de real interes, si anume, cresterea nivelului cunostintelor, competentelor si abilitatilor in domeniul IT ale functionarilor publici. eGovernment (guvernarea electronica) pune la dispozitia cetatenilor serviciile publice on-line, utilizarea TIC, imbunatatind evident eficienta sectorului public si participarea activa a cetatenilor la procesul decizional. Articolul incearca sa releve unele provocari cu care se confrunta practicienii si aspecte care favorizeaza educatia IT, cresc competitia si conduc la cresterea motivatiei tuturor actorilor implicati in dezvoltarea societatii. Utilizarea TIC este o tendinta necesara pentru evolutia organizatiilor publice si private, a mediului de afaceri in secolul XXI privind inlesnirea accesului cetatenilor la informatiile si serviciile publice. Folosind o analiza simpla a situatiei actuale, se observa ca apar unele constrangeri in procesul educational. e-Learning-ul poate crea o viziune comuna asupra viitorului educatiei IT la nivel mondial. Prin adoptarea pe scara larga a standardului ECDL se urmareste cresterea nivelului de competente IT a functionarilor publici pana la un nivel care sa asigure eficienta in stapanirea mijloacelor informatice.
