Abstract

The local public authorities are based on an economic-financial mechanism which functions on the principle of financial and administrative local autonomy. In order to observe the way of its operation it is necessary to present the concept of autonomy in the structure of the economic-financial mechanism at the level of local public authorities. It is necessary to do this in order to eliminate any speculative ideas regarding the non existence or the limited existence of autonomy in Romania
