Desafios Das Pme Industriais No Desenvolvimento Colaborativo De Novos Produtos

Abstract

o relacionamento colaborativo ao longo da cadeia de valor tem sido tradicionalmente baseado em actividades produtivas. As abordagens colaborativas baseadas em processos de desenvolvimento de novos produtos envolvem um relacionamento bem mais aprofundado, o que implica desafios a nível de coordenação e de integração inter-empresarial. Estes desafios têm sido estudados em ambientes relativamente globais, envolvendo grandes empresas multinacionais com amplos recursos tecnológicos cuja aplicabilidade em contextos como o português é difícil devido às condicionantes tecnológica e dimensional do seu tecido produtivo. De forma a poder avaliar os desafios das PME industriais portuguesas, recorreu-se a um estudo exploratório envolvendo quatro empresas produtoras dos sectores automóvel e electrónico e a vinte dos seus fornecedores. As conclusões apontam para um relacionamento pouco colaborativo a nível de desenvolvimento de novos produtos, devido a dois factores principais: as fraquezas tecnológicas das PME e fraco envolvimento a montante dos seus clientes.
