Abstract

One of the serious problems of the future is that ever growing production and consumption demand more and more natural resources so that in the last 100 years the exploitation of these resources has reached such a level that the running out of certain resources (minerals, fossil fuels) endangers the living conditions of future generations. The environmental awareness of the society has been enhanced and environment protectional considerations have gained greater importance in judgements about social issues.
