Abstract

The aim of this paper is to provide a reconstruction of Augusto Graziani’s economic thought. Augusto Graziani (1933-2014) can be considered one of the most influential Italian economist of the second half of the 20th century. This paper explores his contribution in the field of the monetary economics (the so-called monetary circuit approach) and discusses his analysis of the development of Italian economy from Second World War to the beginning of 2000s.
