Abstract

The article discusses the issue of the obligation on municipalities to provide temporary living quarters (temporary residential premises) to people who have not been granted the right to social housing or substitute accommodation by the court. This obligation, implemented as part of the municipality’s own task, has been characterised by a broad outline of its legal background and a practical presentation of the problems of managing municipal property resources. Statutorily prescribed ways of creating housing resources of the municipality contributed to presenting the discussed issues as one of the aspects of the management of municipal property resources
