Abstract

The main objective of the paper is to point out the place held by mobility, as a defining feature of youth’s life and activity, in the development of youth travel both internationally and in Romania. In this sense are presented and analyzed aspects like: mobility as a fundamental human right, the features and expectations of different generations of young people, the two main forms taken by mobility among youth, learning mobility and mobility for volunteer purposes, as well as the role played within the development of activities specific for youth travel.
