Distribucion salarial y educacion En Lima Metropolitana, 1970-1984

Abstract

En este artículo se evalúa el efecto de la expansión educativa sobre la distribución de los salarios en Lima Metropolitana entre 1970 y 1984. El análisis consiste en la descomposición dinámica del segundo índice de concentración propuesto por Tbeil -el Theil-L-, utilizando la información de las Encuestas de Hogares. Los resultados sugieren que tal efecto depende del tipo de expansión educativa que se observe, y que no necesariamente contribuye con mejorar la distribución.
