Políticas de estabilización en el Perú y el sector externo: 1989

Abstract

El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo proveer los lineamientos generales del rol del sector externo, en particular el de las exportaciones, en las distintas opciones o programas de estabilización propuestos tanto por instituciones internacionales, gobierno y sectores academices. El trabajo se basa en los resultados empíricos obtenidos por el autor en varias publicaciones (1988,1989a y 1989b) y otros trabajos complementarios. Estos resultados por lo grueso de los datos y la simpleza de las técnicas utilizadas deben ser vistos como hipótesis de trabajo para la elaboración de un programa de estabilización. El escenario de partida es el resultado económico del silo 1988. No se toma en cuenta en el análisis las evoluciones de los indicadores macroeconómicos durante lo acontecido en los primeros meses del año de 1989.
