La inversión directa de Estados Unidos en el Perú, 1971-1987: una revisión aleccionadora

Abstract

En el contexto actual de deterioro generalizado de la situación económica del país, es cada vez más urgente la necesidad de contar con el apoyo del ahorro externo, la inversión extranjera, para la financiación nacional. El artículo examina los distintos dispositivos legales que han regido a la Inversión Extranjera Directa en el Perú, analiza los efectos sobre los flujos y el stock de la IED proveniente de los Estados Unidos, y concluye presentando alternativas para mejorar las relaciones de inversión entre los dos países.
