Abstract

El primer objetivo fue estimar la brecha digital de género en el departamento de Puno en el año 2021. Para ello se aplicó el modelo de regresión probit con selección de muestra denominado Heckprobit usando los datos de la Encuesta Residencial de Servicios de Telecomunicaciones del año 2021 (Erestel, 2021) del Organismo Supervisor de Inversión Privada en Telecomunicaciones (Perú). El segundo objetivo fue identificar los determinantes de la frecuencia de uso de Internet móvil en las mujeres dedicadas a la artesanía textil en el departamento de Puno, para lo cual, se aplicó el modelo de regresión Poisson censurado con datos primarios recogidos a través de un cuestionario, se usó la técnica de muestreo aleatorio simple. Los resultados evidencian la existencia de la brecha digital de género, los hombres tienen mayor la probabilidad de acceder a Internet móvil en 5,4 puntos porcentuales con relación a las mujeres.
